About

Since May 2022, I am a PhD student at the Chair of Statistical Learning and Data Science (SLDS) in the Department of Statistics at LMU Munich. I have started my journey in 2015 at the Albert-Ludwigs University in Freiburg and obtained there my B.Sc (2019) and M.Sc (2022) degree in computer science.

The main focus of my PhD is on Hyperparameter Optimization and AutoML. However, I am also interested in topics like AI for medical applications, computer vision, benchmarking, algorithmic fairness and many more.
