About

I am the scientific manager for the Chair of Statistical Learning and Data Science at the Department of Statistics at the LMU Munich.

As a psychologist by training I hold a PhD in Neuroscience from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
Despite my love for research I decided against a career at the bench and moved on to the University of Tübingen, Germany, to coordinate the PhD progam in experimental medicine.
A fellowship in medical management and hospital administration lead me to the University Hospital of Basel, Switzerland, where I worked as a business analyst for several years in the IT department. In 2017 I joined the Ladurner lab, where I managed the H2020 Marie Skłodowska Curie Innovative Training Network ChroMe.

Since March 2020 I am a member of this chair.
