Sebastian Fischer

About

I am a PhD Student at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University at the chair of Statistical Learning and Data Science, working on MaRDI, the mathematical research data initiative. I am mostly working on machine learning software in R, including the mlr3 ecosystem, as well as accelerated computing.

I am also interested in statistical inference for the generalization error. </p>

I obtained a Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) in Philosophy & Economics from the University of Bayreuth and a Master's Degree (M.Sc.) in Statistics from the Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich.
