Daniel Dold

About

I am a PhD student at the chair of Statistical Learning and Data Science (SLDS) at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University (LMU) Munich since March 2021. My PhD position is in collaboration with the Institute for optical systems (IOS). The IOS is located at the HTWG Konstanz - University of Applied Sciences, through which I am formally funded. My main interests are in modelling uncertainty with neural networks. Currently, I am focusing on modelling Bayesian neural networks to show their performance on active learning applications.

I have a Bachelor's Degree (B.Eng.) in Automotive Information Technology from the HTWG Konstanz and a Master's Degree (M.Sc.) in Computer Science (MSI-AS) from the HTWG Konstanz.
